This exceptional combination of molybdenum and vanadium, subjected to double heat treatment for a hardness range of 56-58 HRC, exhibits exceptional stain resistance, toughness, and corrosion resistance. These blades maintain their razor-sharp edge for an extended period and are easily re-sharpened.

BÖHLER N690 Cobalt is an extraordinarily fine-grained steel that retains its sharpness even with prolonged use. The addition of cobalt, an uncommon alloying element, creates exceptional uniformity, enhancing edge retention and sharpening receptivity. This steel achieves a hardness range of 59-61 HRC.

SANDVIK 12C27 is Sandvik's most well-rounded knife steel, offering excellent edge performance for razor-sharp cutting, high hardness, exceptional toughness, and robust corrosion resistance. With a hardness range of 54-61 HRC, it is the recommended grade for bushcraft knives.

MICARTA, a composite material made from layers of paper, canvas, or linen bound by epoxy resin under high pressure and temperature, is lightweight, resistant to shocks and corrosion, and unaffected by humidity or extreme temperatures.
